Our children are precious. Most parents want what is best for their kids. We hope they will be happy and live long, fulfilling, and joyful lives. There is a Native American saying that "We don't own this land. We are only caretakers, holding it for our children." When I see parents pushing their little ones in strollers or playing with them in the park, I wonder to myself: Will there be a world for them to grow up in? And if there is, will it be the kind of world they deserve? If we can't get our act together for our children, the future may very well be more chilling then we could possibly imagine.
