Goal:
The goal of any web designer
should be to create an attractive, functional, easy
to navigate site that reflects not only the aesthetic
of the designer but the spirit of the client, organization
or product being presented to the Internet community.
To this end I work with the client very closely each
step of the way. While a site is being created, it is
temporarily hosted at ravenswingstudio.com, so
the client can have daily access to it for viewing and
commenting on the modifications as they occur. Client
input is welcome and expected.
Tell me what you want and I will tell you if it is possible
from a technical perspective and desirable from a design
and usability perspective.
Pricing:
Every web design project
is different in terms of the number of pages, links,
graphics, cgi scripts used, etc., but a simple rule
of thumb that will help in estimating the total cost
of site is to allow $50-$150 per page, depending on
number of graphics used.
My current hourly rate is $50. This includes minor
digital manipulations and color correction of photographs.
I require $250 upfront to begin the site and subsequent
payments to be made as each $500 point is reached. Total
payment must be made before the completed site is uploaded
to your server. Future updates and modifications to
the site are charged at the $50 hourly rate.
