Collage

Back in ’93, I created a series of surreal collages made from magazine images precisely cut out and glued to painted canvas backgrounds. In 2012 I found an old CD with photos of the collages and just couldn’t resist opening one of them in Photoshop and playing around with it. This is the result, and I must say it was great fun to take something created in another medium and then go all digital on it.

The titles for the series were lines borrowed from the surrealist poetry I was writing at the time, so don’t bruise your brain trying to figure out what it all means.
