Jenny

Jenny is the current “baby of the family.” She’s also our only vampire kitty. She only comes out after dark, then disappears shortly after my morning meditation. She usually lays across my lap or stretched out next me during that time. She spends her days hidden behind stacks of boxes and art materials in the studio. She’s very affectionate with us in the evening, even sleeping on the bed, often pressed between us. I don’t think there’s a single one of Betsy’s students who’ve actually ever seen Jenny. And vet visits can be quite a challenge. We can only make appointments for first thing in the morning before she has a chance to disappear. Once I had to cancel an appointment the morning of, because Jenny vanished before we could get her in the carrier.

She looks just like my wonderful cat, the late Mr. Twinkle. Many many of my students became cat lovers after they met Twinkle.

ohhh God… Jenny looks like my Dolu! Dolu too was very very very shy. I took my Sonu-Dolu back home in India from Japan, unfortunately bcoz of stress and his shy nature… Dolu ran away…. we could never find him. Sonu, his sister also couldnt find him. Sonu lived happily with us, and became more close to my mother. We had another small and a very weak kitten that time Radha, Sonu treated Radha as if her child and cared so much even sharing her pray, playing with her.
