“Rabbit Dreaming”

I am relocating and downsizing to a condo. To that end, we have enlisted the help of Everything But The House, an online auction house, to sell half of our art collection, including art from my studio, Raven’s Wing. It will occur in early December. As soon as we know the exact dates of the auction, we will post them. In the meantime, if you’re interested, please register at Everything But The House –

Change Is Coming

The inevitable has come to call. We are moving! They said it couldn’t be done. But we are doing it! If you’ve ever visited our ArtHouse, you may be one of those naysayers. Downsizing from 2300 sq. ft. to a 1200 sq. ft. 2 bedroom condo means trimming our art collection by more than half. And that ain’t easy – emotionally or physically. I have been focused on my digital collage art and my ukulele song writing for a number of years now, so I’ve decided to give up my studio. I must say it feels pretty good to be simplifying my life as I begin the last chapter.

I Am Really Loving This

“Avenue Of Dreams”
Digital Collage Art (2023)

I am a visual artist. I love colour. So imagine my dismay when the basal ganglia at the base of my brain began sending inappropriate signals to the muscles around my eyes twelve years ago telling my eyelids to close. It got to the point that if I wanted to see, I had to tape my eyelids open. Now I get Botox injections every four months – and no more taping. The green image at the top of this collage is part of a graphic showing the injection sites. I see it every time I visit my neurologist. He was kind enough to allow me to take a photo of it during a recent visit. Now it’s in a piece of art.

Colour is my drug of choice…

I breathe it in and exhale it through my art. This series of digital collage pieces features an intense layering of colour, texture, and images that create a surreal wonderland, a playground for my brain. Feel free to come along.

The title “Rennie’s World” refers to my beloved cat who died a year ago in July, and I miss him daily.

Dumpster Diver Exhibition opening reception. Big hit!

The Philadelphia Dumpster Divers are exhibiting in the gallery adjacent to the gallery exhibiting the Trashy Women Artists Collective at the Chester County Arts Association. Come one and all, all ages, to experience the reuse of objects turned from trash to treasure through the creative energies of some really interesting folks. Both shows run through March 28, 2023.
